Travis Glass

Coach

Travis is the head teaching professional at Eagle Valley Golf Course & Golf Academy in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from the Golf Management program at Keiser University, Port St. Lucie, Florida, in 2012. After returning home to Niagara and joining the Professional Golfers Association of Canada, he became a PGA of Canada Class “A” Professional in 2019. In 2022 Travis was awarded Junior Leader of the Year by the PGA of Ontario provincially and then Nationally by the PGA of Canada. The Junior Leader of the Year award recognizes the Professional who is a leader in junior golf and who reflects the ideals of those who work with youth.

Travis teaches full time, year-round at Eagle Valley, having taught over 7500 lessons in the last 11 years. He creates and oversees the daily operation of Eagle Valley’s Junior Programs. In 2023, Travis was elected to teach the Brock University men’s and women's golf teams where he led them to nationals in his very first year. He has a great ability to listen to each individual, young and old, and teach them in a way that relates to them personally. His positive attitude and humor brings a quick comfort level to students creating a bond as a coach, friend and mentor.

Throughout the summer, Travis teaches a variety of age and skill levels, from beginner to scratch and professional players. In addition to summer lessons and programs, Travis offers full winter academy programs using Trackman Technology that allows students the best opportunity to develop their skills year-round. Whether you are a competing player looking to continue the development of your skills or new to the game, Travis’ off-season programs can be designed to fit any student’s needs.

Travis was also part of the original team to bring U.S. Kids Golf to Canada with the Niagara Local Tour and Canadian Invitational in 2012. As Tour Director, Travis has grown the U.S. Kids Golf Niagara Tour to over 100 players per event locally, and the Canadian Invitational, an international championship, to 150 players from around the world.

As the head of Eagle Valley Golf Academy, he has grown and developed our golf programs' structure to serve golfers of all levels to the abilities they desire. Travis teaches a wide variety of students. From competitive golfer at the professional, collegiate, and junior levels to avid players and beginners.

Travis offers year-round instruction using our state-of-the-art indoor training facility.

 

The Eagle Valley Golf academy programs are the best way for students to develop a plan for improvement to play their best.

Spencer Reynolds

Coach

Spencer is a PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional and Niagara College Sport Management graduate. He began playing the game 10 years ago as a hobby and it quickly turned into a strong passion and has since developed into a career. He is our Assistant Professional here at Eagle Valley Golf Club. Over the years Spencer has developed a strong understanding of the game and strives to make the game enjoyable for all ages and skill levels through various teaching methods.

John Piccolo

Coach

John is our Head Golf Professional entering his 25th year of teaching here in Niagara. From his decades working golf course maintenance and his time teaching golf management, strategy and leadership courses at Niagara College, he has the insight needed to understand and communicate the game of golf from all perspectives.

 Ben Hebert

Junior Coach

Participating in the Eagle Valley Golf Academy programs, Ben has developed into a very skilled, competitive golfer on the Niagara District Junior Tour as well as competing in many Golf Ontario events. Joining the Eagle Valley staff in 2021, Ben has become a valued member of the team and had the opportunity to occasionally teach our Junior Camps this past season. Ben is currently a grade 12 student at Dennis Morris High School where he competes for their golf team. Starting at a young age, Ben began taking lessons with Travis Glass, golf professional and head of Eagle Valley Golf Academy, where he has learned skills and teaching methods that are applicable to golfers of all talent levels. Ben will be a coach at Eagle Valley during the 2023 golf season, teaching our Beginner, Level 1, Level 2 and Evening camps.
