Eagle Valley Golf Academy Junior Programs

At Eagle Valley Golf Course, we make sure your child feels supported, safe, and excited to learn. With a low 6:1 student-to-coach ratio, our junior golf programs are designed for all skill levels—from beginners learning the basics to players working toward competitive goals. Each program follows Golf Canada’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) model, which focuses on age-appropriate skills, confidence building, and steady progression. Whether your child is trying golf for the first time or looking to advance, we offer a clear and enjoyable path to grow and succeed.

In Season Programs

Perfect for little ones with no golf experience — just curiosity and energy!

Our SNAG Program introduces young children to golf using oversized clubs, bright targets, and fun, playful activities that help build coordination, confidence, and teamwork.

 

It’s the ideal first step for kids discovering the joy of golf.

What Parents Should Know:

  • No experience needed

  • All equipment provided

  • 1-hour class every Sunday

  • Runs for 5 consecutive weeks

  • Program dates: July 5 – August 2

  • Designed to make learning golf safe, simple, and fun

Perfect for kids with no prior experience

 

Our Beginner Golf​ Program introduces young golfers to the sport in a fun, supportive, and playful environment.

 

We focus on building confidence, learning basic skills, and making every day enjoyable.

What Parents Should Know:

  • No experience needed

  • Junior clubs provided if your child doesn’t have their own

  • 1-hour camp each day: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

  • 1-week program: Monday to Friday

  • Fridays are On-Course Play Day!

  • Runs weekly from June 29 to August 17

Perfect for kids with limited or little golf experience who are ready to learn the basics!

Our Level 1 Program introduces young golfers to the fundamentals in a fun, supportive, and interactive environment. Kids will build confidence, learn proper technique, and enjoy playing alongside new friends.

What Parents Should Know:

  • Ideal for limited experience

  • Junior clubs provided if needed

  • 2-hour class each day: 12:00NN– 2:00PM

  • 1-week program, Monday to Friday

  • Friday includes On-Course Play!

  • Weekly sessions run June 29 – August 17

Perfect for young golfers with some prior experience who are ready to level up!

Our Level 2 Program helps players sharpen their skills through focused practice, on-course play, and real-game strategy. This program builds stronger technique and confidence, preparing juniors for future membership and more advanced play.

What Parents Should Know:

  • For golfers with intermediate experience

  • Own clubs recommended (limited equipment available upon request)

  • 3-hour class each day: 12:NN – 3:00PM

  • 1-week program, Monday to Friday

  • On-course Play and Lessons

  • Runs weekly June 29 – August 17

Programs for the Busy Schedule

Great for beginners and intermediate players who need a flexible schedule!

Our Evening Golf Program provides focused instruction in a smaller group setting, making it perfect for busy families. Kids develop their skills week after week in a fun, structured, and relaxed after-school environment.

What Parents Should Know:

  • Suitable for beginners & intermediate players

  • 1-hour lesson each week

  • Choose Monday OR Tuesday for the full 6-week program

  • Class time: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

  • Designed to build skills consistently over consecutive weeks

Perfect for beginner and intermediate girls who want to learn golf in a fun, supportive, all-girls environment!

Our FORE Girls Program is designed to empower young female golfers by building confidence, teamwork, and strong fundamental skills. Girls will learn, grow, and connect with others in a space that encourages friendship, positivity, and self-assurance.

What Parents Should Know:

  • For beginner & intermediate girls

  • 6-week program, every Saturday

  • Dates: April 15 – May 23

  • Class time: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM

  • A welcoming space to build skills, confidence, and friendships

Junior Golf League

Open to all skill levels — from beginners to seasoned young golfers!

Our Junior Golf League gives kids the chance to grow their game in a fun team setting with friendly competition. It’s the perfect way to build confidence, develop course skills, and prepare for more competitive play in the future.

 

What Parents Should Know:

  • All experience levels welcome

  • Great for building teamwork, sportsmanship, and real-game confidence

  • League begins Thursday, May 28, 2026

  • Tee times vary based on the number of participants

Learn to Compete

Experience Level: Suitable for intermediate players ready to take their skills to the next level

Our Learn to Compete Program is designed for junior golfers looking to develop the skills and strategies needed for competitive play. This program emphasizes advanced techniques, course management, and mental preparation in a supportive and challenging environment.

Schedule:

  • Duration: 8 consecutive weeks

  • Days: Saturdays

  • Times:

    • Session: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Class Size: Maximum of 6 students per class.

Equipment: Participants should bring their own clubs, 

This program is ideal for young golfers aspiring to compete in tournaments or simply elevate their game in a focused and motivating setting.

Get to Know Us

Junior division – U15 & U19

The Summer Competitive Junior Academy Program is designed for athletes aspiring to compete at the provincial level, providing them with a rigorous, tournament-focused training regimen. Through personalized strategies and expert guidance, this program addresses critical areas such as skill development, event preparation, course practice, strategic decision-making, mental conditioning, physical fitness, and post-tournament analysis.

Participants are required to bring their tournament schedules to the program. Each week, a tailored plan will be created to prepare them for upcoming events.

The program consists of 34 hours of instruction (17 weeks) with PGA of Canada Class "A" professional Travis Glass.
