Water Hazzard Is Here!

May 6, 2014

We are so proud to present you with the newest venture straight from the think-tank offices of Eagle Valley Golf Club: Water Hazzard. Water Hazzard blends high quality purified natural spring water with a 100% glass, BPA free classy wine bottle. BPA is found in polycarbonate plastics often used in containers that store food and beverages, such as water bottles. Exposure to BPA is a concern because of possible serious health effects.

So now you know that Water Hazzard comes in a chic BPA-free wine bottle, but you also want to know what we put into it. Water Hazzard derives its water from a locally invented superior purification technology called ESIL: a system that uses electrolysis to electrocute the water, removing impurities and leaving behind the minerals your body needs. It’s like harnessing a thunderstorm inside the bottle. This is maybe more good news: perhaps you will see fewer storms on the greens these days as we zap away in the factory (you’re welcome!).

Eagle Valley Golf Club is uniquely situated on the wine route deep in the heart of Niagara wine country. Flanked on all sides by the richly historic Queenston, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the sublime, incomparable Niagara Falls, Eagle Valley Golf Club is a local landmark; a place holder for the previous site of an ancient buried gorge (a waterway) that took water from the Niagara River to present day Lake Ontario. Bustling, dynamic and spirited, The Club does in fact share more than one trait with the water that once churned over our 9th hole.

And as with the ancient gorge, golf is full of movement: ups and downs are punctuated epic triumphs and heart sinking hazards. Life is hard enough; don't take a risk with your hydration routine! It's OK to play on golf terminology, but not with what goes into your body. There are over 200 years of history that have lead up to this moment. Go ahead, uncork a Water Hazzard and see what all the fuss is about!
